Breakdown of Fees

Club Fee

All Members of the club pay a Club Fee.  This goes towards covering the cost of lane hire and other expenses the club has throughout the year.

$80.00 per season - first and second members of each family

$40.00 per season - third, fourth, fifth, sixth member of the family

Insurance Fee

The Insurance fee is paid direct to Swimming WA to cover the member for any injuries or accidents whilst swimming and/or travelling to a swimming event in another town.

Recreational Member - $80.00 per season

Any swimmer who may swim in a club environment, for example, in Club Night events only, but who does not compete in any competitive swimming meets.

Competitive Member - $100.00 per season

Competitive Members are able to compete against other clubs or at official events.
These may be Junior Swimmers (12 years and under), Age Group Swimmers (13-18 years) and Open/Senior Swimmers who actively seek to swim at competitive swimming meets.  These include any sanctioned meets, JX, Inter-Club Meets, Sheels etc or swim meets where times are used as an offical qualifying time.  Competitive swimmers may only compete in swimming events against other registered Swimming WA members or FINA accredited and registered members.

Social member - $5 per season

This applies to Coaches, Club Management, Committee, parents of children who are registered with the club, Technical officials or social members of a Club.  Membership ensures they are protected by insurance at any time when working or travelling to/from club activities.

If you are a volunteer of the club, this insurance is for you.  The insurance covers you for all times that you are volunteering for the club, whether it be time keeping, working in the canteen or travelling to and from a swimming event.

Members who are registered with Swimming WA are covered to swim with any other swimming club within Western Australia when on holidays. Should the member leave town and join another swmming club within Western Australia, the member would not need to pay another insurance fee with the new swimming club for that particular season.  They will just need a transfer form completed and signed by the Club Secretary.

Coaching Fees

Each swimmer pays a coaching fee.  The coaching fee is charged to cover the cost of ongoing training for coaches, swimmer equipment and uniforms for coaches.  There are two coaches fees, one for members who attend 3 sessions a week and one for those attending 5 sessions a week. There are no reduced fees or refunds should your child be ill, not attend or have other commitments throughout the season.
